Panama is considered one of the three best places to live in Latin America, according to a recent study by the Corporate Resources Group, in 192 cities worldwide. The study considered issues such as transport, crime rate, arts and entertainment. Panama has beaches with spectacular scenery on its shores and islands in both oceans, diving and fishing sites are recognized internationally. There are five golf courses within or outside Panama City, Colon and the beach areas. Among the sports that stand out are the horse races in sailing, windsurfing, boat, boxing, cycling, diving, fishing, golf, baseball, basketball, fast browsing and surfing. The nightlife includes concerts, nightclubs, casinos, live music, restaurants, cultural events, plays, cabaret, classical music and other attractions. In Panama, seven newspapers published (five in Spanish and two in Chinese) daily, and over twenty weekly and monthly periodicals. The country has seven television stations, two of them educational. There is also cable service.
